Time of Reading 3:55 to 4:15 P. M.

1. GC: You will give at this time a discourse on, "How those seeking to understand psychic information may learn how to determine the reliability of that which comes through various psychic channels." You will answer the questions that may be asked.

2. EC: Yes, we have that which has been shown us from old; that in the mouth of two or three witnesses a fact is established.

3. Psychic is of the soul. As to whether psychic information is from those who have attuned themselves to the influences that are even in the material world, or to that force or source which has been sent or given in Creative Forces that are constructive in the experience of others, may only be judged by the application of same in the experience of the individual.

4. For, it has been given, "Search ye the Scriptures, for in them ye think ye have eternal life; and THEY be those that testify of me."

5. In this we see given that the soul which attunes itself through the manner of approach it, the soul, may make to the Creator of all life, all manifestations of life (which is that we worship as God), finds in the activity of individuals that which brings into the consciousness of others THAT individual's conception of that the individual worships.

6. If this makes for those conditions in the experience that are only the gratifying of the carnal forces, or to the aggrandizement of selfish motives, we then may know that it is not born of truth - but rather that which may be led from the path of light into those things that may seem right unto

5752-5 Page 2

a man, yet the end thereof is death.

7. Then, how may one determine in one's own experience as to the value or the reliability of information that may be given through any channel that may propose to be, or that may be said to be, of a psychic nature - or with the divine illumination to the self? If it is only psychic and of the earth earthy, then beware! If it bespeaks of that which may bring LIFE in its essence, or the spirit of truth that makes men free from those things that hinder them from knowing more of the truth, of the SPIRIT of truth in the earth, then it may bring that which is constructive into the experience of those that receive same.

8. "Try ye the spirits," ye have been admonished; and they that testify that He has COME, that bespeak such in their activities, are of TRUTH.

9. Then, they that bring to each soul - not comfort, not as earthly pleasure, but - that which is SPIRITUALLY CONSTRUCTIVE IN THE EXPERIENCE OF A SOUL, ARE WORTHY OF ACCEPTION.

10. Ready for questions. (Pause)

11. It has been questioned as to that given of old, in those instances where that is which ye have eternal life was referred to.

12. What sought Saul? For his own satisfying of his conscience, or for the edification of that which might bring truth? Because the soul of Samuel had entered into that test inter-between did not change one iota the position that Saul bore with constructive influences. While the CHANNEL might be questioned, the source - and that received - was truth! For it came from the source that had already warned Saul.

13. So, in thine own experience, what seekest thou? A short cut to satisfying thine own conscience, or that which may enlighten thee as to what is truth and life?

14. Much depends, my children, upon WHAT ye seek. If ye seek a lie, then the sources must be those from which there may come that which will gratify thine own self. If ye seek to know the truth, then seek only through those channels or from that source that may bring thee to the knowledge, to the understanding, that those promises are thine that have been ever to man: "If ye will be my people, I will be your God." And, "I will not leave thee alone, I will come to thee - if your SEEK me." But if ye seek for the gratifying of thine own self alone, or how thou mayest take advantage of thine brother, then know the spirit of truth departs from thee. Through whatever channel ye may seek, be sincere with thine self. If ye would have that which is the manifestation of

the Spirit of the Father through any channel, be sincere with thyself; for like begets like. The spirit of truth is nigh unto thee; not who will ascend to bring him down or to bring him over the sea, but seek him in thine own heart; for THY soul is the image of thy Father - and as ye seek in truth, as ye seek in sincerity, as ye seek, so will it be opened unto thee. TODAY - if ye will hear His voice.

15. "Love ye one another," and thus fulfillthe law as to thy relationships with thy brother and with thy God.

16. We are through.
